She is survived by: her husband Orval Ellis Downing Jr.; her daughter Sarah Jane; her son-in-law David Livingston; her grandchildren, William Ellis Livingston and Jane Winn Livingston; her siblings, Ross Boorhem, Ann Medlin, Barbra Heimbach and Harriet Boorhem; her close friend Debbie Fitzgerald; and her caregiver LaSonya Matts.
