He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Zoch and Jim Hagood; his wife Helen Bagby; and his siblings, Donald Hagood and Vivian Hagood.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Klawitter and Howard Hagood; his children, Lori Hagood Martin, Stephen Hagood and Kevin Hagood; his grandchildren, Brittny Smith, Cody Hagood, Todd Hagood and Katie Unger; and his great grandchildren, Emberly Marucci, Emmy and Vivianne Unger. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws.

During the COVID pandemic, Alzheimer's took its course.
