She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis H. "Jim" Corder and Laura Belle Corder; and her husband David Young. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Young (Stephanie) and Jay Young; and her brother Michael Corder (Sharon). She is also survived by friends, students, music, and cats.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bethany United Methodist (10010 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin, TX 78750).
