He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Louis Freitag (Tag) and Jane McCray Freitag. He is survived by: his children, Forrest Freitag III (Alysha Freitag) and Tiffany Hicks (Daniel Hicks); his sister Jan Barnes (Doug Barnes); his grandchildren, Ava Freitag, Cheyenne Adams, Landry Vogelman, Nash Freitag, Liam Adams, Aubree Vogelman, Cooper Vogelman, Dayton Hicks, Everett Freitag and IvyJane Hicks; and his friend Linda Danzer. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Briggs Baptist Church (505 Loop 308, Briggs, TX 78608).
