It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francisca Jimenez of Austin, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pascual Jorge and Rosalia Jorge (Lozano); her son Jose Luis Jimenez; and her siblings, San Juanita Almendarez and Florentino Jorge.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Jimenez; her children, Rosamaria Jimenez, Ana Jimenez, Margarita Jimenez, Deborah Jimenez (Rodolfo Rangel), Francisco Jimenez (Ashley), Augustina Jimenez and Esmeralda Cardenas; and her siblings, Hilberto Jorge and Pascual Jorge. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the House of Angels Funeral Home (1928 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1120 52nd St, Lubbock, TX 79412).
