It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Cloud Cooksey of Austin, Texas, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hanna Cooksey and Virginia Rowe Cooksey; and his grandparents, Bedford Frank Rowe and Mabel Cloud Rowe. He is survived by: his friend Lynn Cornelius of Pampa, TX.; his wife Lynn Cornelius Cooksey; his sister Sylvia Jean Newsom (Rollo); his children, Franklin Cooksey and Kathryn Cooksey Pew (Paul Pew); his grandchildren, Michael Lozano (J. Lozano) and Rachel Long; his niece Sara Satornino (George Satornino); his nephews, Leigh Newsom, Scott Newsom (Teri Cole Newsom) and Greg McElreath; Carlyle Marney.
