It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Theiss of Austin, Texas, born in Bishop, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Fran Theiss; his children, Trey Longmore, Suzanne Willett (Jeremy) and Justin Theiss; and his pet Macy.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745).
