She was predeceased by: her husband Felipe Rivera, Jr.; her son Edward Rivera; her parents, Daniel Villarreal, Sr. and Sara Zamudio; and her siblings, Daniel Villarreal, Jr., Reynaldo Villarreal, Sr. and Mary Lou Contreras.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Villarreal (Dolores Arredondo), Felipe Rivera, III, Michelle Thorton (Michael) and Fernando "Baby Fernando" Rivera (Andrea Pawlick); her pet Mia; and her siblings, Joe Villarreal, Sr., Abel Villareal, Sr., Julian Villarreal, Sr., Rudy Villarreal, Sr., Arthur Villarreal, Richard Villarreal, David Villarreal, Diana Bowser, Sarah Diaz and Janie Villarreal. She is also survived by grandchildren and 10 treasured great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
