She is survived by: her children, Ro Mawi Watson (Larry Watson), Tin Cung Thang (Sen Lyan), Van Dong Thang (Christopher Marai) and Niluai Thang (Ngun Dim); and her siblings, Thla Khar, Kei Lwai, Ni Dong and Ngun Kip. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 1511 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749).
In her later years, Parkinson's disease gradually made walking more difficult.
