It is with sadness that the passing of Horacio G. Gamez (Austin, Texas) is shared. Horacio, born on December 23, 1958, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Horacio will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Horacio by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Horacio is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Horacio’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Gonzales Gamez and Isaias Valdez Gamez; and his sister Eleanor Rocha. He is also survived by his family, his friends, his coworkers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
