It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Ills of Austin, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Benjamin Adam Ills; her parents, Edna Lee Green Ludwick and Hugh Thurmond Ludwick; and her husband Lyle Luther Ills. She is survived by: her children, Joshua Lyle Ills and Rebecca Ann Nelson; her son-in-law John Nelson; her grandsons, Jack Nelson (Chase), Luke and Will Nelson; her brother Berk Ludwick (Brenda); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Ills (Lynn) and Mary Ills. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
