Janet Lewis Bennett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Lewis Bennett of Austin, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Janet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Lewis and Ellis Lewis; and her sister Mary Terry. She is survived by: her husband Jim Bennett; her children, Tracey Carleton (Adrian) and Brian Bennett; her grandchildren, Allison and Matthew; and her sister Brenda Warnock (Jerry).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter.
