She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Gonzalez and Filigonia Gonzalez; her former husband Aurelio "Junior" Mata; and her sisters, Damiana G. Marquez and Tomasa Arismendez.
She is survived by: her husband Austin; her children, Frances Botello, Felix Mata (Bertha), Sonny Mata (Stella), Henry Mata (Phyllis) and Mary Torres (Joe); and her sisters, Concepcion Castaneda, Victoria Trevino and Teresa Aguilar. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
