He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Jeff Chandler and Elnora Chandler; his siblings, Patricia Ann Dillard, Coretta Coleman, William Chandler, Richard Chandler and Peter Chandler; and his son Jeffrey Scott Chandler.

He is survived by : his sons, Christopher David and Steven Philip; his nephew Nathaniel Chandler; his wife Janice; his granddaughters, Amber Haygood (James) and Jasmyn Chander; his great grandchild Emily Haygood; and his siblings, Ernestine Hamilton (Billy Sr.), Ruth Ann Chandler, Alfred Chandler (Carol), Janette Kotey and Denise Lane (Bishop Leroy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jeff was a dedicated employee of IBM for 37 years, where he made lasting contributions to the company.
