He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Leon Nickens and Cora Ernestine Cross; his wife Beverly Ann Nickens; and his son Randall Ray Nickens. He is survived by: his sister Karen Whiteside (Jack Whiteside); his daughter Melissa Ann Nickens; his grandchildren, Margaux Christina Moze and Millar Randall Moze; his son Christopher Scott Nickens (Laura Ann Nickens); and his grandchildren, Prestwick Ray Nickens, Jillian Marie Nickens and Polly Tess Nickens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin, whose care and compassion supported Jerry and his family during his final chapter.
