He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosendo Ortiz and Juana Sanchez; his daughters, Paula Ortiz Harmon, Diana Ortiz and Connie Ortiz; his granddaughter Hazel Harmon; his siblings, Minnie Arevalo, Julia Ortiz, Sam Ortiz and Inez Garza; and his nephew Stephen Arevalo. He was also cherished by his best friend, love of his life, and wife of 51 years.
