He is survived by: his parents, Jose Gutierrez and Maria Gutierrez; his wife Rachel Alvarez; his son Jonathon Benito Alvarez; his mother-in-law Estella Alvarez; his siblings-in-law, Benny Alvarez, Jr. (Teresa), Mary Sue Nicholas (Tim), Norma Gonzales and Robert Ovalle, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Gutierrez (Inez), Ruth Gutierrez, Eva Gutierrez, Rachel G. Lopez and Joel Gutierrez (Claudia). He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
