She is survived by: her sister Doris Astley; her niece Kathy Bense; her children, James Craig Gibson (Dotti), Jolene Vanderzyl (John), Leane Heldenfels (Gil), Shelly Georgescu (late Andrei) and Amy Gibson (Steve); her grandchildren, James Duncan (Alicia), James Riley Heldenfels, Ryan Georgescu, Avrum, Asher El-Khashab, Catherine Hogan (Tanner), Renee Gibson, Avery Heldenfels, Audrey, Rachel Vanderzyl and Amy Georgescu; her great grandchildren, Liam Gibson, Benjamin, Henry Hogan and Quinn Duncan; Theresians. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
