He was predeceased by: his wife Adelita Constancio Hernandez; his daughter Zenaida Hernandez; his parents, Zacharias Hernandez and Liboria Jimenez; and his siblings, Eusebio "Chebo" Hernandez, Cleto Hernandez, Nicolas Hernandez, Silbanio "Sam" Hernandez, Jose Hernandez and Antonia Mendez.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Hernandez (Frances), Cynthia Saldana (Adam), James Hernandez (Vanessa), Joseph Hernandez (Amanda) and Javier Hernandez (Alexis); and his siblings, Joaquin "Jack" Hernandez (Dora) and Angela Vasquez (Albert). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
