John Frederick Lubben Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Frederick Lubben of Austin, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Shanna Alexandra Lubben and Mark Andrew Lubben; his wife Ann Catherine Logan-Lubben; his daughter-in-law Linda Lubben; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jordan Lubben, Isabella, Liam and Katrianna Edwards; and his great grandchild Isabel Lubben.

In Austin, he was again a tireless volunteer for Rotarian projects, and during the pandemic became the most prolific volunteer for Meals on Wheels in South Austin Rotary Club.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Loaves and Fishes, Austin Meals on Wheels, Austin; or the Central Texas Food Bank.
