He was predeceased by: his brother Lewis Morriss; and his parents, Lula "Bess" Morriss and Benjamin Morgan. He is survived by: his daughter Erica Leinneweber (Blake Leinneweber); his grandchildren, Cory Stone, Cody Stone, Brandi Stone, Douglas Stone II, Haley Stone and Hunter Stone; his great grandchildren, Cree Stone, Audree Stone, Killian Stone, Amelia Leinneweber and Christian Stone; and his brothers, Pete Morriss and George Morriss. He is also survived by two nephews, four nieces, three great nephews, and seven great nieces.
