He is survived by: his wife Dixie Kay Pinckney of Austin; his children, Meri Braziel Swoyer (Ben) and Robert Pearson Braziel (Julie Frank); his grandchildren, Whitley Braziel (New York City), Katherine Braziel (New York City), Robert Swoyer and Sienna Swoyer; his niece Kristi Williams of Emory; and his sister-in-law Sharon Pinckney of Lampasas.
