She was predeceased by: her husband Sisto Chairez; and her parents, Adolfo Gaitan and Rogelia Gaitan. She is survived by: her children, Esther C. Huerta (Humberto), Delia Gonzalez (Federico), Ruben Chairez (Irma) and Ray Chairez (Sarah); and her siblings, Rosa Delgado, Herminia Tamayo, Julia Machado and Adolfo Gaitan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Mission Funeral Home - San Marcos (300 Cheatham St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (624 E Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memory Lawn Memorial Park (19106 San Marcos Hwy, Martindale, TX 78666).
