He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Louise Julian Day and Joseph Harrison Day; his daughter Cynthia Marie Day; his son-in-law Robert Floyd; his brother-in-law Jon Rohal; and his nephew Christopher Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue (Leitenberger) of Peter's Catholic Church; his children, Debra Floyd, Diane Shafer (Alan), Denise Hess (Rob), Richard Day (Karen) and Danita Day (Clarence Barnes Jr.); his grandchildren, Dayna Arnone (Jonathan), Riley Hess, Anthony Day (Catalina), Alexa Liedtke (Michael), Jenna Shafer, Zack Shafer and Erin Floyd; his sisters, Mary Lou Sidle (Don) and Judy Davis (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Rohal and Michael Leitenberger (Sally). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
