He is survived by: his wife Carol Keating of Buda, Texas; his children, Douglas Keating of Austin, Texas and Rebecca Garlett (Frank) of Round Rock, Texas; his sister Mary Bent of Bloomington, Indiana; his half-siblings, Joy Friedman of Houston, Sara Troutman of Arlington, Texas and James Akin of Houston, Texas.; his niece Lisa Scott (Perry) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his nephews, Jason Bent (Erica) of Anchorage, Alaska, Alan Bent of Bloomington, Indiana and Carl Keating (Maggie) of Joshua.
