He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his mother Yolanda Rodriguez; his children, Alma Reyna, Christopher Alvarez and Yolanda Reyna; his grandsons, Jonathan and Joseph; and his siblings, Sonia Tellez, Alexander Garcia, David Carlos Rodriguez and Jose Luis Saldivar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends.

A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at 2618 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78702. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - East Side (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
