Though Josie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Josie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabino Rodriguez and Cirilda Rangel Rodriguez. She is survived by: her husband Santiago "Jimmy" Arocha; her daughters, Rosalinda Arocha-Martinez (John Michael Martinez) and Valerie Arocha (Henry R. Guerra); and her grandchildren, Val Christian Arocha-Guerra and Avery Rose Arocha-Guerra. She is also survived by her sisters; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - East Side (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery (14501 N IH-35 Frontage Rd., Pflugerville, TX 78660).
