It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Schechter (Austin, Texas), who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Greenberg and Rose Glass Greenberg; her husband Captain Joe Schechter; her children, Cathy Schechter, Eddie Selig, Cheryl, Dr. Aryeh Farkas, Dr. David and Lucy Schechter; her grandchildren, Julia, Molly, Nissim Leib (Orli), Raizel Leah (Yaakov), Aaron Joshua, Jessica, Abe (Julie), Ellana and Jonathan; her children, Jack and Hindy; her siblings-in-law, Arthur and Joyce Schechter; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie, Leslie (Hedley), Jennifer (Alan), Ricky (Olivia), Geoffrey (Tina) and Mike (Nancy).
