He is survived by: his wife Ignacia Loera Cantu; his children, Pete Loera (Frances), Esther Cantu Carver (Kenny), Estella Cantu Ortiz (Michael), Felix "Chico" Cantu (Deanda) and Maria Cantu Bradley (Branson); and his siblings, Pete Cantu, Janie Cantu Hernandez, Catarina Cantu Arredondo and Esperanza "Hopie" Cantu. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
