He is survived by: his parents, Bruce Edward Thurin of Austin and Margaret "Peggy" Duffy Thurin Fire of Grand Forks; his sisters, Molly Elizabeth Thurin of Austin and Anna Keeley Jiongo (Jacob) of Austin; and his grandfather Louis Thurin of Louisville, Ohio.. He is also survived by numerous other cousins, uncles, aunts and his step sibling.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills (9700 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin, TX 78750). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (10205 N FM 620 #2210, Austin, TX 78726). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
