She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilde A. Rodriguez and Pedro C. Rodriguez; her husband Charlie Hernandez; her son Thomas P. Maldonado; her brother-in-law Joe Rodriguez; her grandsons, Michael Tapper and Elijah Maldonado; and her siblings, Mary Ann De, John Campos and Jim Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Janie R. Torres (Michael T. Torres), Paul A. Maldonado, Michael R. Maldonado, Leandra A. Hernandez and Melinda Maldonado; her daughters-in-law, Marisela Maldonado and Julia Maldonado; and her sisters, Lena Rodriguez, Isabel (Mando Leal) and Nora (Richard Acuña). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
