With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Lasdon of Austin, Texas, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Laraine; his children, Erica Lasdon and Sasha Lasdon; his sisters, Naomi Lasdon and Claire Benedikt (Britton); his grandchild Kira Lasdon DeLuca; and his brother-in-law Malcolm Rosenfeld.

In memory of Leon, contributions to Austin Classical Guitar and Temple Beth Shalom would be appreciated.
