He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson; his children, Elizabeth Taylor-Wren (Travis) and Brian Thompson; his stepchildren, Rochelle Williams (Christopher) and Antoine Williams; his grandchildren, Kendrick Taylor, Jared David West, Nadia Breanne Thompson, Detric M. Williams, Trinity D. Davis, Soley Isabel Thompson, Alvin M. Hill and Sophia Nicole Thompson; and his close friend Eugene Sistrunk.
