He was predeceased by: his father Habacu Galvan, Sr.; his brother Habacu Galvan, Jr.; and his great-niece Yanet Barrera Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Luna-Galvan; his children, Lupita Escalante and Jesselouis Galvan; his granddaughters, Alycia Melanie Chavarria of Austin Texas and Leila Marrero of Austin Texas; his mother Prudencia Galvan; and his siblings, Dorothea Galvan, Gloria Rodriguez, Lorena Rodriguez, Jose Abel Galvan of Missouri and Juan Galvan of Missouri. He is also survived by Several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
