He is survived by: his wife Geneva Williams Haws; his children, Chandra Tate (John Germel Tate), Shilonda Williams, Erik Nathaniel Haws and Tyese Harris (Taifa Harris); and his sisters, Eula Lee Haws and Frankie Haws-Brown (Ronald Brown). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
