She is survived by: her spouse DeCalvin Hughes; her sons, Kelvin Hughes (Denise), Timothy Hughes and Carlton Hughes (Charlene); her grandchildren, Denzell Brown, Timera Hughes, Damon Hughes, Taniah Hughes and Elika Hughes; her godchildren, Wendy Moore and Eugene Washington; and her siblings, Hattie Brown, Delois Barnes, Debra Wilcher (Raymond), Zeberdee Barnes (Gwen), Thomas James Barnes (Sharon), McTerry Barnes (Laverne) and Bobby Barnes (Maria).
