He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Gonzalo Taboada and Maria Mercedes Teran; his caregiver Luz Fernandez; his children, Jorge Luis and Maria Luz; his children-in-law, Colonel Tito Villanueva (Retired) and Marty Taboada; his siblings, Gonzalo Taboada, Dr. Gustavo Useda, Maria Mercedes Rodriguez Taboada and Dr. Alvaro Taboada; and his grandchildren, Kyle Villanueva, Isabella Villanueva, Diego Taboada and Maya Taboada.
