She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Pohlmann and Theresa Nowicki Pohlmann; and her brothers, John H and Conrad Pohlmann, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Wesley Berger; her nieces, Jeanne Adams and Charis Lehnert; her great-niece Julie Bergman; her caregiver Barbara Pereira; her children, Bonnie Johnson (Mike Smets) of Fort Smith, Barbara Berger (Kris Dynneson) of Vieques and Dr. Brian Berger (Barbara Pereira) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Joe Johnson (Angela), Karen Johnson Fordyce (William) of Austin, Abigail Smets (Ricky Murphy) of Hamden, Meredith Smith (Nick) of Dallas, Melissa Farleigh (John) of Prineville, Amanda Brown (Mike) of Dallas and Jesse Garcia Pereira of Austin, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Brooks (Kayla) of White Lake, Max Johnson, Carly Fordyce of Austin, Emily Fordyce of Fayetteville, John B, Madeline Farleigh of Prineville, Marianne, Connor Brown of Dallas, Everett, Landon Smith of Dallas, William and Wyatt Murphy of Hamden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
