We announce the death of Mark Leeds Perlmutter of Austin, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Mark will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Perlmutter and Adele Perlmutter; his brother Billy Perlmutter; his uncle Larry Perlmutter; and his aunt Arlene Brilliant.
He is survived by: his wife Lexi Perlmutter; his children, Eric Perlmutter (Ivy Ford), Lindsay Perlmutter (Kelly Edwards), Jillian Griffin (Andy Jordan) and Kenny Reams (Lala Reams); and his grandchildren, Emma, Adam, Betsy, Teddy, Penny and Griffin.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Westminster's Harris Bell Hall (4100 Jackson Ave, Austin, TX 78731).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite Democratic candidate or Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas.
