She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burns and Louise Anderson Burns. She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Griffin; her son Shannon Griffin (April Glass Griffin); her siblings, Donald Burns, Craig Burns Sr. (Tonya Burns) and Ingrid Burns Brownlee (Harvey Brownlee); her grandchildren, Jazmin Griffin, Nia Bradley, Cameron Griffin and Ava Griffin; her friends, Arthur Stinson, Monica Stinson and Veronica Stinson Glover (Cedric Glover); and her godson Eddie Stinson (Lorie Stinson).
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
