He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Smith and Bebee Pearl Smith; his brother-in-law Michael Reeves; Alline Reeves and C. L. Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Reeves Smith of Austin; his children, Jason Thomas Smith (Michelle Smith) of Georgetown and Julie Smith of Pasadena; his stepson Richard Beverly (Lauren) of Austin, Texas.; his grandchildren, Hayley Creasey, Hannah Creasey, Hunter Creasey, Kameron Carson, Kyle Carson, Reed Beverly, Chase Beverly, Hailey Smith and Hayden Smith; his great grandchild Quinn Sheiner; and his siblings, Hershall Smith (Charlotte) and Veeda Burns (James) of Castroville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and many, many friends.
