She is survived by: her daughter Carlenthia Renee Johnson; her sisters, Octavia Kirby-Veal of New Orleans and Mae Alice Kirby of Springfield; her sisters-in-law, Vera Lea of Joliet, Audrey Johnson of Lockport and Carolyn Gross of Chicago, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Latashula Johnson, Latoya Harris (Quincy), Chenell Jones and Chance Barrett; and her godchildren, Minister Brandon Dorris (Savitri) of Chandler, Arizona and Bryon Dorris of Joliet, Illinois.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
