It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Kent Brooks in Austin, Texas, who passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Ralph Brooks and Lynette Brooks; his niece Christie Proctor; and his nephew Adam Proctor. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Jon, Forrest and Caroline; and his siblings, Laura Covarrubias (Joe), Greg Brooks (Lisa) and Cindy Brooks.
