He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnne Jackson Morris; his mother Ramona Garcia; his brother Gene Morris; his grandchildren, Kristina Cawthon Mata and David Wayne Morris, Jr.; and his grandson-in-law Richard Heath Wootton.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, David, Mark, Debbie, Raye Anne and Maria. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (10000 David Moore Dr, Austin, TX 78748). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Paul Catholic Church (10000 David Moore Dr, Austin, TX 78748).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Annunciation Maternity Home in Georgetown, Texas, or Veteran organizations, in his memory.
