He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Gutierrez and Isabel Gutierrez; and his son Louis. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Mike, Joe, Sylvia, Rose Mary (Michael Soza), Cynthia (Frederico Fierro) and Christina (William Poole); and his sister Clara. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Dolores Catholic Church (1111 Montopolis Dr, Austin, TX 78741). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
