He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his father Simon Rodriguez; and his siblings, Justina Rodriguez Valtierra, Taurina Rodriguez Valtierra, Selerino Rodriguez Valtierra, Filimon Rodriguez Valtierra and Gregorio Rodriguez Valtierra.
He is survived by: his children, Rosa Maria Hernandez, Margaria Santana (Sergio), Rodrigo Rodriguez (Patricia) and Blanca Monica Rodriguez (Michael Gloria). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and many friends.
