She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Barrera and Estanislada Barrera; her husband Samuel Pinales; her son Charlie Pinales; and her sisters, Elizabeth Puente and Olivia Arzola.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annie Pardo (Raymond), Becky Pinales and Gloria Pinales. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
