She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Veloz and Anita Veloz. She is survived by: her husband Guadalupe Suniga; her children, Debra Ann Suniga (James Younts), Deacon Thomas Suniga (Denise), Denise Suniga (Frank Hernandez), Michelle DelaRosa and Christina Suniga (Eric Duran); and her siblings, Robert Veloz (Mary) and Donnie Veloz. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery (11610 Chapel Ln, Austin, TX 78748).
