Paul Harano Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2026, at the age of 70, Paul Harano (Austin, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Satoru "George" Harano and Chieko "Impie" Harano; his wife Kim; and his brothers, Robert Harano (Bob), Roger Harano (Bucky) and Ronald Harano (Bud).

He is survived by: his daughter Sarah; his son-in-law Jimmy Cross; and his siblings, Betty Ann Akiyama, Kay Kanayama, Gail Cunningham and Randy Harano. He is also survived by his numerous siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
