He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Montez and Trinidad Martinez Montez; and his brothers, Joe and Tony Montez. He is survived by: his wife Anita L. Estrada-Montez; his children, Debra Haros, Paul Montez, Jr., Adam Montez, Gilbert Estrada, Arleen Darnell and Randy Estrada; his grandchildren, Thomas Fisher, Taylor Fisher and Ava Harrelson; and his siblings, Helen Alvarez, Mary Montez and Manuel Montez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - East Side (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
